Proudly made in our factory from 100% New Zealand alpaca fibre, this duvet inner is sustainable, hypoallergenic, odour and mildew resistant and lighter than wool. Our alpaca fibres are extremely smooth, allowing us to create a fleece that is as soft as cashmere, but 25% warmer than sheep wool. Alpaca fibres also boast one of the highest moisture wicking properties of all natural fibres. This means that the fibres in your duvet first absorb the body moisture, keeping sweat away from the body and then slowly release the moisture to the outside of the duvet into the air, allowing for you to be dry and evenly warm throughout the night, summer and winter. This great wicking ability is combined with Alpacas' lack of natural body oils, making their fibres odorless and naturally hypoallergenic. Our duvets are made using a 100% sateen cotton cover with 400 thread count.
Tip: This 400gsm alpaca duvet inner compares to a 500gsm wool duvet in warmth, but is 25% lighter.
